1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Browser storage (such as localStorage) works in a similar way. We use as little of both as possible.
2. What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| tad_sid | Cookie · strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in after you log in. HttpOnly and SameSite, so scripts and other sites can't use it. | Until you sign out or close your browser |
| tad_age | Browser storage · necessary | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18+ and in the UK, so we don't ask on every page. | Until you clear your browser data |
| tad_cookie | Browser storage · necessary | Remembers your cookie choice. | Until you clear your browser data |
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
3. Third-party cookies
- Google sign-in: if you use Continue with Google, Google may set its own cookies (for example
g_state) to run the sign-in. See Google's privacy policy for details. - Games: our games may use browser storage to remember game settings such as sound.
4. Your choices
Strictly necessary cookies can't be switched off, because sign-in wouldn't work without them. You can change your cookie choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, and you can delete cookies and stored data in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, you can still play as a guest but you won't be able to stay signed in.
5. Questions
If you have any questions about cookies, contact us by email at [email protected], or through our contact form or the Player Care form at the bottom of every page.
